How To Apply
You may apply on-line or request a volunteer application by mail by contacting the volunteer coordinator by email :[email protected].net or by using the form below. Volunteer applications will be taken through July 4th, 2013. Volunteers will receive their volunteer schedule no later than July 12th. If you notice a scheduling conflict, please notify us as soon possible.

Flashlight (if on duty at night)

Volunteer Responsibilities
Be on time for shift check-in and work assignments. Plan enough time for transportation to and from the campground.
Check in at volunteer location
Work your entire shift.
Notify the volunteer coordinator immediately if there are any changes in your availability to work your assigned shift once the festival begins.
Be familiar with volunteer job descriptions and guidelines.
Attend the Volunteer Party and Training event prior to the festival. Pre-festival training will be held Tuesday July 30 @ 5:30pm in the Barn with dinner @ 6pm. If you can not make it to the pre festival training, it's not the end of the world.
Please be prepared to check in with the Volunteer Coordinator at least 30 minutes prior to your first festival work shift for orientation and
training.
Volunteers must wear Pickin' in Parsons Volunteer Crew aprons while on duty. These are provided to you during your shift only. Return them to the Volunteer Coordinator after each shift. Parking Attendant volunteers must wear safety vests (provided).
Make arrangements for child care prior to arriving on duty. Children are not allowed to accompany their parents to work.
Please recycle plastic beverage bottles in the appropriate bins and encourage and help attendees to do so as well.
Volunteer Benefits
All volunteers who work three hours will receive a single-day pass for that day. Or if they volunteer the week prior to Pickin' in Parsons, they may pick the day they attend. All four day volunteer requests will be considered before single day volunteers.
Pickin' in Parsons volunteers can enjoy the festival before and after working assigned shifts
Volunteer Check-In
Please let the Gate staff know when you arrive. There you will receive your entry wristband. Volunteer Check-In is located at the back of the main shelter. All volunteers are directed to check in for their volunteer shift 30 minutes prior to their shift beginning. The Volunteer Coordinator will provide you with information/training needed to perform your volunteer duties.

Location Of Services
Volunteer Check-In/Information Booth is located at the back of the seating area.
Handicapped parking is available behind seating area.
Restrooms are located throughout the festival grounds.
Lost & Found is located in The T- Shirt Booth.
Festival Policy
Pickin' in Parsons is held rain or shine - We recommend bringing clothes for all seasons!
For your safety and the consideration of all guests and our campus, the following are restricted from Pickin' in Parsons:
Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs
Pets in the concert area
Unauthorized ATV's, golf carts, and Segway's. Note: Bikes are permitted in the camp ground, but NOT in the concert seating area.
Unauthorized video or audio recording
Tents or canopies in concert areas
No one is permitted on the grounds without proper credentials (wristband).
No smoking in any building or under seating shelter.
